Threat Assesment - Understanding Violent Behavior

This presentation will look at violence from analyzing the acts of violence and the actors that commit violent behavior. It will examine some of the most common causes of violence, and explore new theories of violence. It will examine past acts of violence on a micro and macro level. It will explore the psychological, emotional, and behavior actions of those who commit violence, and look for clues as to intervene before the violent act. It will examine some high-profile cases and explain how's and why's of the occurrences.
